I love hearing that other people enjoy Jon too!!! He was in my bishopric back when I lived in Utah (the first time... 2000), and he and I have kept in touch over the years. I always get a kick of hearing that others like him... cause I can say "I remember him when...". One of my favorite memories of him was a Fast Sunday in my ward. Our bishop (YSA ward) decided to spice things up a bit and do a hymn testimony meeting. We could share how a song has influenced our testimony, and then we'd sing it as a congregation (Jon would play). At the very end, my roommate got up and shared that many of the songs she had felt inspired to share had already been expressed.... and that she wanted to give Jon a bit of a present. She told a story of moving to the US from Canada at the same time as she joined the church and how a certain song had always reminded her of that move and that life change... not to mention, Jon would enjoy going "all out" while playing it.... "The Battle Hymn of the Republic". He just lit up, and we all grinned. He was ALL over the keys on that one.. It was awesome!!!!
