We all know how much Madison and Hyrum LOVE the park. But I have to confess that is difficult for me to have to same passion about taking them to the park when it is so hot outside and it takes a 15 minute walk to get there. Ok, I'm a complainer. So I tell the kids we go to the park on Fridays. Madison does not like this schedule of mine. She, unlike Hyrum, can voice her opinion about the park. She is a social butterfly and always wants to be playing with other little kids. And she knows there is no other place to go to find those friends than the park. So we are now making the hot walk more than once a week. But it makes my children so happy, that it is definitely worth it for me to come home dripping with sweat with two happy kids!
Hyrum feels like such a big boy since he learned how to play on the playground by himself.
I can't keep up with Madison once we get to the park. She was off making friends with the other kids there. So I had to get an action shot of her. She loves the slides.
Madison has taught Hyrum how to climb the slide. Hryum actually made it up to the top all by himself. I was so proud... He is such a monkey!

Fun! I love taking my boys out too, but you're right, so hard when you feel like you're melting! What's the weather been like there? We've been hitting 109! Crazy! Stupid AZ! The only reason I'm happy to move to Idaho is for the weather.

I am impressed Hryum can climb the slide. Jackson just freaks out. Good for you for taking your kids to the park...its these memories and moments they will remember when they are older and thank you for taking them even if you did come home dripping in sweat.

I am impressed that you take them to the park so often...way to go!! I try to do it, but the idea of chasing all of them around, frustrates me. I need to learn from your example...
