Pretty sad to say the last time I blogged was for Grant's blessing day. Now that he is a year and a half I think it is about time I get my rear in gear and start blogging again. We moved in June of last year to Texas. When we moved we were in a state of transition for about 6 months until we found a home to purchase. We moved after Christmas and are so happy to settle down and have a home of our own!
Life is wonderful! We are all enjoying being together as a family and sharing silly moments together. My husband and children bring me so much joy that I cannot even begin to express. I guess the only place to begin is a little update on each of the kiddos.
Hyrum is now 4.5 years old and is counting the days until he turns 5 and can go to the big school like his older sister. (Even though he doesn't turn 5 until July.) Hyrum is most likely always found in his imaginary world, wherever that may be. It ranges from out in the wilderness catching bears, being a guard, or being a superhero.

Grant is now approaching the big 18 months. Grant is our little happy camper. He is mostly always found smiling or laughing about whatever activity he is doing. He doesn't have too big of a vocabulary quite yet, but I can tell he is wanting to talk because he does jabber a lot. Madison always looks at me and says, "Mom, what is Grant talking about, I don't understand him." We are hoping his vocabulary will increase in the next little while. He loves his blanket and thumb and we're not quite sure how we are going to break him of that. He is a sweetheart!

Madison is 6 years old and in the 1st grade. She is doing very well adjusting to her new school and has gotten straight A's all year. She is our little smarty pants. She has really developed a love for reading and will catch her in her room at night reading books when she is supposed to be sleeping. She is very inquisitive and sometimes asks questions I don't quite know the answer to yet. I love her desire to learn. She is growing up to be a beautiful girl!
All of these pictures were taken on Valentine's day. Valentine's day is so fun with kids. It was fun to see Madison's face as she showed me how many valentines and treats she got from her friends and to see the kids reaction when they got a mysterious door bell ditch from their daddy with tons of treats just for them. I am incredibly grateful for all of my little loves in my life. Life is good, what else can I say?
